The “il Giuggiolo” farm, located in Tuscany in the Grossetana plain within the Maremma Regional Park on the right bank of the Ombrone river was founded in 2001 with the desire to give structure to a lifestyle. Living the territory, consuming and enhancing the products it offers thanks to the tireless work of thousands of companies has always accompanied us in every step of our individual and family life. The cultivation of cereals, vegetables and fruit has always been a peculiarity of our territory, which is why we have created a processing laboratory where we produce agricultural food. Sauces, jam, accompanying sauces and biscuits.
The main raw materials are grown on the farm or through collaborations with local realities, in order to obtain food “produced in Maremma”. The recipes we make are the result of tradition and exclusively designed and created to best enhance our products. Attention to environmental sustainability has always been a fixed point. The photovoltaic system guarantees a production of electricity with which we power the structures and machinery for the cultivation and transformation of products, drip irrigation allows us to rationalize the water resource, the use of totally biodegradable bioplastics and ” use of agricultural practices such as false sowing and mechanical weeding for the control of weeds, organic fertilizers for the correct contribution of organic substance to the soil and all other suitable agricultural practices to obtain the best of the biological and organoleptic characteristics of our products.
