Naturalmente Toscano markets the food excellences produced in the province of Grosseto in Tuscany, by a group of farmers associated in the PIAZZOLETTA who grow ancient varieties of cereals and legumes, catalogued by the University of Florence, Department of Genetics. Naturalmente Toscano buys the products from these farmers and transforms and/or packages them to sell them online, in neighborhood shops or at trade fairs. These food excellences come from a genetic selection aimed at recovering the old varieties, rich in nutrients and unique flavors. Their cultivation and marketing permit to safeguard the biodiversity of our lands, give new opportunities to small farmers, who are the custodians of both the seeds and the territory, otherwise destined to being abandoned. Naturalmente Toscano’s mission is to give consumers a new opportunity for healthy eating, with a clear food supply chain, and make them aware, direct supporters of the revival of the territory of Maremma.
